Having suffered through about 1049 “spy shots”, the internet has finally been christened by BMW to see the all BMW M2 in production form.
Initially, I like it, but I can’t say I’m blown away by the aesthetics on the flat screen..and in person view is surely needed. While I had day dreamed about a detuned S55 from the M4 getting stuffed in the M2, I knew the most likely case was a modified N55 motor from the M235i. Bespoke? Not really, but its still a wondrous motor that should give us all we need.
A few important specs:
- 364 hp Twin Scroll Turbo I-6
- DCT or Manual transmission options (I’m giddy about this)
- Curb weight is approximately 77 lbs less than the M235i
